Recently I asked the following question:
"I am to teach physiotherapists the physics behind therapy instruments. I
have not found a book on the subject that I am satisfied with. Any
suggestions?"
>From the answers I suppose that the right term would have been "physics for
physical agents".
I'm happy for all the good responses. Some of the responses pointed out
books that to my opinion are to narrow but other for physical agents in
general.
Two books looked promising:
1) "Evidence-Based Guide to Therapeutic Physical Agents by Alain Yvan
Belanger" and
2) "Physical Agents in Rehabilitation" from Michelle Cameron"
both available at Amazon.com.
I bought both of them. They where very useful for me (an electronic engineer
lacking insight in what kind and in what way physical agents are used) but
did not contain enough of the physics behind the use. So they are not what I
am looking for in my classroom.

"Have you seen my (old) book 'Electricity, Fields and Waves in Therapy'
which was published in 1986 by Science Press?
I have just finished re-writing the book and plan to make it available in
electronic form on CD. I am using it with my physiotherapy students here
at LaTrobe University."
I got the CD covering the book and even the power point slides. I think this
is a very good material for my teaching, and besides of this e-book being a
freeware it is the only available thing I found on the subject.
