The Motion Analysis Lab of the Orthopaedic Department at the University Hospital of Münster/Germany invites applications for a
Graduate Research Assistantship
The duration of employment is 20 months.
The position is related to a project which is funded by the German Ministry of Economy and Employment. It involves research of biomechanical characteristics of the rheumatoid foot and appropriate orthopaedic therapy. The aim of the project is to develop a model for clinical examination and therapy in cooperation with an industrial partner.
The job requires independent organisation and execution of biomechanical measurements of foot kinematics and kinetics. Furthermore the project will focus on mechanical and mathematic modelling of motion.
Prerequisites: Applicants are expected to have a degree in human movement science or medical engineering. Knowledge in methods of biomechanical analysis is needed. Furthermore good knowledge in computing is desirable and German as well as English is mandatory. Programming skills are a plus.
