Hi,
A problem has developed with our Houston Instruments Complot 7000 Series
digitizer. In 'Point' mode, the digitizing beep sounds continuously - not
aiding the enjoyment of the digitizing experience!
The Houston Instruments digitizer division has apparently been passed between
several corporations, and support is no longer available for the 7000 series.
We are currently attempting to identify and fix the problem, but we were
wondering whether any other Complot users might have encountered the same
problem or might have a manual or other technical information for this
particular digitizer. Any of these would greatly help our repair effort.
Finally, in case we need to replace the hardware, does anyone have a 7000
series digitizer and/or control box that is collecting dust and which we might
be able to discuss acquiring?
