    Project: Factors that influence functional locomotion in older adults

    A PhD project aimed at investigating biomechanical factors that affect
    the ability to perform functional tasks of everyday living in older
    adults, including those affected by osteoarthritis, is available. The
    project is funded under the ARC Linkage Scheme.

    The annual stipend for the candidate is $23,294 tax free per year
    (indexed annually) for a period of 3 years. The position is available to
    Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents
    only. The scholarship is for full time study.

    Applicants should possess a science, physiotherapy or human movement
    background with Honours Class I (or equivalent) in the appropriate
    discipline or a Masters degree. Good communication skills are essential
    and experience in biomechanics or 3-D motion analysis would be an
    advantage. Your application should include your CV (with academic record
    and research experience) and the contact details of two referees.
