Rehabilitation Research Postdoctoral Engineering Fellowship
Marquette University & the Medical College of Wisconsin
Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin have an opening for a post-doctoral engineering fellow funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education (NIDRR). The training program is up to 24 months in duration and is structured to provide cross-disciplinary training in research, publication and grantsmanship skills. The fellow will be matched with both Ph.D. and M.D. mentors on an appropriate rehabilitation research project.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or related engineering discipline with evidence of strong interest in research.
Responsibilities
The postdoctoral fellow will complete a program designed to provide each candidate with a unique set of capabilities to succeed as a rehabilitation researcher. The elements of the training program are: (1) Didactics, (2) Mentored Clinical Areas, (3) Mentored Research Areas and (4) Collegial & Collaborative Activities The capstone experience for the postdoctoral trainees will be the submission of an extramural proposal.
