  • Questions relating angular momentum

    Dear all:
I am a student in Taiwan. Recently, I tried to
calculate angular momentum of subject's throwing arm
in thrwoing movement. But I got some questions as
    below:
1.What point is better being the origin point
(shoulder joint or the center of mass of the whole
body) when angular motemum of throwing arm must be
calculated? If I use shoulder joint to be origin point
and calculate angular momentum progressively, the
meaning of angular momentum is the value of angular
momentum we can see(observe) when we stand on the
    shoulder joint or not?
    2. If I use shoulder joint as origin point, how can I
calculate the relative x, y and z coordinate of other
    point? Using other point's x, y and z coordinate
    subtract shoulder joint's x, y and z coordinate?
