A Unique Opportunity In Neuro/SCI Rehabilitation

Interested in a challenging position in a highly cooperative environment

leading researchers? The Cleveland FES Center is seeking an experienced
Physical Therapist to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team investigating
innovative technical interventions to restore or enhance independence and
motor performance after SCI or stroke. As Clinical Coordinator of the
research program, the Physical Therapist will provide senior leadership to
ongoing multicenter trials of new assistive technologies, oversee the case
management of participants in numerous research projects, and supervise a
small, highly motivated team in a collegial and supportive
environment. Responsibilities include organizing training experiences for
collaborating therapists, analyzing outcome data, managing recruitment and
enrollment of research volunteers, and professional communication and
information dissemination. Applicants should have a degree in PT, at least
5 years experience in neuro- or SCI rehabilitation, and a current license
to practice in Ohio. Prior rehab management and/or research experience is
preferred. U.S. Citizenship required. The Cleveland FES Center is a
consortium consisting of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Case Western
Reserve University and MetroHealth Medical Center dedicated to developing
technology to improve the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
