  • Grenade Project

I work for the U.S. Army. We have a pretty good idea already of what
we are going to do for a particular project, but I would like your
    feedback and validation.

We are doing a study to record pull forces on grenade pins. We are
going to probably instrument some (inert) grenades with strain gages
to measure force. Does anybody have information they could offer me
    on:

    1) Which muscles are used to pull a grenade pin?
    2) What frequency of data collection and signaly conditioning and
filtering should be used, i.e. what is the frequency of a grenade pin
    pull event?
