[http://www.utpb.edu/reach/kines.htm] starting in the Fall semester of
2005. It includes a stipend and scholarship. The amount of the stipend
is $8,000 for two semesters and $2,000 for the summer semester. The
amount of the scholarship is $1,000 for Fall and Spring semesters.

The lab is equipped with a Peak Motus system (3D Optical Capture) with
six 60 Hz cameras with near infra-red LED ring lights, KineCalc custom
formula generation module and the Gait Analysis Template, two AMTI OR6-7
force platforms, an AccuSwayPlus stability platform with Balance
Clinical software package, and a Myopac Jr. eight-channel fiber-optic
hardwired EMG system from Run Technologies, along with DataPac signal
    processing software.

    Requirements/Skills:

BS in kinesiology, exercise science, human movement or related field.
Experience in kinematic, kinetic, emg data collection and analysis, and
background in the control of human motion would be advantageous.
Computer proficiency is preferred (software and hardware). Coursework
preparation in anatomy and physiology, physics, and/or related
    coursework is desired.

    Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and maintaining biomechanics lab, collect and
