Biomech-L readers,
I am currently a 3rd year bioengineering student at Lehigh University in
Pennsylvania, USA. My interests for future research, graduate work and
employment lay in medical electronics and device / product development. I have
additional interests in Sports & Exercise Physiology and testing.
I am hoping to travel abroad during our Fall semester of 2005 (September -
December) and instead of taking courses I am looking for a paid engineering /
research internship. I have experience working on many research proposals and
several experiments. I have also served for 15 weeks as a research engineer
for a biofeedback and rehabilitation product development company named SIMBEX
LLC (Lebanon, NH). I plan to spend 12-14 weeks working there as an intern,
again, before traveling overseas to Australia.
If you have any information on possible internships in or around Perth, or
anywhere else overseas from the U.S. in the related fields which I've
discussed, please let me know. I currently have no preference as to a
university setting versus a for-profit business setting. I have a resume ready
to send out for anyone interested.
I appreciate the help,
Sincerely,
Chris Mina
