Title: Senior Lab Administrator/Staff Engineer
Location: Massachusetts
Salary: 90K to 110K base plus annual bonus

The laboratory is a state of the art facility that has capabilities for Cell
and Tissue Culture, Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry,
and Tissue & Microscopic Image Analysis.

The position will report directly to the Director of Cartilage & Soft Tissue
Technologies. Responsibilities will include coordination of all
administrative functions regarding the laboratory including training, safety and compliance
programs. The role also includes oversight of an intern program that will
support student internships at various levels of their training including at
undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels. This function will require
close collaboration with various Project Leaders in identifying, designing and
executing appropriate Projects for all laboratory personnel.

In addition to the administrative responsibilities, the individual will
undertake technical projects that complement the work being conducted in the
various project teams. Preferably, the candidate would have an in depth expertise
in a specific subject matter that can complement the Project Teams, for
example an expertise in immunology, pathology or microscopy.

Extensive experience in Laboratory Management with strong Organizational

Detailed knowledge and understanding of tissue culture and molecular
techniques is essential. Familiarity with other laboratory techniques,
such as
microscopy, mechanical testing, and analytical chemistry is also
Demonstrated expertise in at least one relevant area of study (for e.g:

immunology, pathology, protein chemistry, microscopy)
Ph.D. with a minimum of 5 years of experience or Master's with a minimum
of 9
years of experience.
