Dear Colleagues:
This is a reminder to register for the US National Committee on
Biomechanics 2nd Symposium on Frontiers in Biomechanics (see
www.biofluidseducation.org/usncb). This one-day symposium will be held
at the Cascade Resort and Spa in Vail, Colorado (just prior to the
Summer Bioengineering Conference; see
www.asme.org/divisions/bed/events/summer05.html), June 20-21, and will
feature invited talks on the following feature topics:
- Embryonic Growth Biomechanics
- Biomechanics of Speciation and Evolutionary Biology
- Dynamic Structure/Function Imaging
While the abstract deadline is past, we invite participation of
non-presenters in the Symposium. Attendance will be limited to 100,
providing ample opportunity to interact with the prestigious panel of
speakers and to discuss the true frontiers in biomechanics.
It is important to note that even if you submitted an abstract, you must
still be registered to attend the conference.
We hope to see you there!
N. Chesler, University of Wisconsin
J. Moore, Texas A&M University
D. Vorp, University of Pittsburgh
Symposium Organizers, on behalf of the USNCB
Note: This e-mail is being sent to multiple list-serves. Please accept
our apologies if you receive multiple copies.
