A PhD studentship (with stipend EUR 10.000 p.a., tax exempt, plus some
benefits) will be available for a project on shoes usability.
The focus of the project will be on indexing the shoes usability,
overall female shoes with medium-high heels (no functional footwear).
The work will use user trials and related techniques.
Availability: Oct 2005.
Duration: 3 years.
University: Psychology Department, University of Turin, Italy.
Location: Turin and Verona, Italy (a part of the work can be done abroad).
No didactic activity and no Italian language skills are requested.
Biomechanicsts interested in product ergonomics applications with a
strong research methodology background are particularly encouraged to
apply. Applications with similar interests are welcome as are those from
graduates in bioengineering, human engineering, human factors or a
related subject.
