Research Position in Neuro-Rehabilitation at Balgrist University Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland
The research department of the spinal cord injury center at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich (Switzerland) is offering a research position (postdoc, PhD, physician) for individuals with a strong interest in neuro-rehabilitation.
This position is funded by an initiative to standardize the assessments within several spinal cord injury units in Europe. The focus of the position is directed to analyze and publish the corresponding data of mainly functional and neuro-physiological tests. The position is embedded in a multi-disciplinary scientific team (engineers, movement scientists, MDs, PTs, OTs) with a strong interest in the development and implementation of new assessment tools in the patients suffering from SCI.
We are looking for a communicative and scientifically interested candidate with a background in rehabilitation, biological or medical sciences, or a similar field. Knowledge of basic statistics is of advantage; the German and English languages are mandatory to be successful in this position.
The position is open immediately and financed for 1-3 years.
