Is it incorrect to assume symmetry for the average person between left and
right sides for bone lengths, bony features, ligaments as well as muscle
origins and insertions? What I am really asking is should I measure these
features on both sides, or can I just do one and halve my workload (as long
as I can quote evidence supporting my (eventual) findings)?
I've tried some medline searches but aren't using the right search terms -
any leads, sample papers etc would be much appreciated.
