POSTGRADUATE STUDENTSHIP
We are pleased to announce the availability of a 3 year postgraduate studentship to study for PhD in biomechanics. The successful student will join our interdisciplinary research team to study the biomechanics of the shoulder. In particular, we are looking for someone interested in developing further our techniques for modelling of the shoulder complex.
The successful applicant will have a good honours degree (First Class or Upper Second) in Engineering, Physics or a related subject. The studentship is open to EU students.
The Centre for Rehabilitation and Engineering Studies (CREST) is an interdisciplinary research group with a research portfolio concentrated on upper limb biomechanics and associated aspects of neurological disability, particularly spasticity. The research is funded by Research Councils, European Union, Charities and Industry. There is a well equipped biomechanics laboratory in the Engineering Building
For more information on our research please go to: www.ncl.ac.uk/crest
The total value of the studentship is £12500 p.a. + University Fees
