Creighton University, a Catholic and Jesuit institution, invites
applications for a full time, 12-month tenure track faculty position
at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in the Department of
Physical Therapy. The Department of Physical Therapy, an integral
part of a comprehensive health science campus, has established itself
as a leader in clinical doctoral education, offering entry-level and
transitional DPT programs, clinical residency programs and service to
the profession in its academic excellence and scholarship. The
faculty educate and mentor the professional development of future
physical therapists, contribute to the evolving base of physical
therapy knowledge, and serve the community by being "men and women

Applicants must be committed to excellence in their teaching,
scholarship and service activities, hold a research doctoral degree
with a record of extramural funding or have completed a postdoctoral
research fellowship. Research related to movement science is an area
of emphasis. Research focus related to the basic science underlying
physical therapy care, care of underserved populations, health care
outcomes, and physical therapy education will also be considered.
Teaching and service are expected. Eligibility for licensure as a
physical therapist in Nebraska is strongly preferred. Evaluation of
applications will continue until the position is filled. Rank and
salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
