The Center for Safety Research at the Liberty Mutual Research Institute
for Safety is seeking a research assistant to support projects in the
area of occupational biomechanics. The position involves working on
multiple project teams.
The Research Institute is located on 86 acres of woodland 25 miles west
of Boston, MA. Significant collaborations exist with Harvard University,
Tsinghua University, and Fudan University (PRC). The Center is fully
funded and committed to peer-reviewed publication of all its findings.
Outstanding laboratories and opportunities for further laboratory
development are available.
Requirements:
A B.S. or M.S. degree in biomechanics, industrial or mechanical
engineering or related fields is required. Preference will be given to
candidates with laboratory experience, particularly data collection with
motion analysis, force plates, electromyography and related equipment.
