Three-Dimensional Spine Reconstruction

Has anyone constructed a three-dimensional model of a spinal unit (or any other body part) from CT scans and than input the model for finite element analysis using ABAQUS software? If so how did you assemble the model, load the model, and set boundary conditions in ABAQUS?
