Title: RESEARCH ENGINEER POSITION
Location: Orthopaedic Research Laboratory of the Swiss Federal Institute of
Technology in Lausanne

Qualifications / Skills :
* M.S. degree in Science or Engineering with FEA experience is
required. Ph.D. in Mechanical or Bioengineering is preferred.
* Experience in the development of FEM
* Programming (Fortran, Matlab)
* CAE (Solidworks)
* Biomechanics
Description of Position:
This position focuses on the Finite Element Analysis of the shoulder joint
after total shoulder arthroplasty. The qualified applicant will be
responsible for developing a FE model of the shoulder joint, including the
major muscles of the joint, and test different prosthetic designs, and
surgical techniques.
Start Date: Immediately.
Activity rate: 100%.
Duration: 2 years (renewable after 1 year).
