Biomechanics of kneeling and knee protection

Dear List subscribers,
I am currently putting together a sudy aimed at investigating the efficacy
of knee protection devices such as knee pads. Is anyone aware of any
investigations in this regards focused on biomechanics measures? Most the
research I have identified thus far have investigated efficacy and use of
knee protection devices using questionnaires.
