Dear All
Is anyone aware of a table of values or indeed a single typical value
for the coefficient of static and sliding friction between compact bone
and steel (polished or at lease not rough), or do you think that it
would be adequate to determine this by use of a simple inclined table
experiment with a sample of say 10 to 12 mm in size to get an
approximate value.
