RESEARCH ASSISTANTSHIP IN MUSCULOSKELETAL BIOMECHANICS

Applicants are invited to apply for a research assistant position within the
Bone and Joint Center Research Laboratories at Henry Ford Hospital. The
candidate will be part of a collaborative group of investigators with
expertise in biomechanics, computational mechanics, motion analysis, animal
models, anatomy, cell biology, histology, biochemistry and molecular
biology.
The position requires a minimum of BS in Chemistry, Biology, or a closely
related field. Individuals with a degree in engineering are preferred.
The primary job requirement is to work under minimal supervision to perform
experiments in the Biomechanics Section. The candidate will be expected to
learn laboratory methods in areas other than his/her area of training.
The position is available immediately. Applications will be accepted until

education for an appropriate candidate. Henry Ford Hospital is less than 2
miles from Wayne State University which has a full Engineering graduate
program designed around night classes.
