Senior Design Engineer - Lifecore Biomedical
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for leading the new product
engineering development effort and manufacturing processes for Lifecore
dental products. Working with both internal customers and manufacturing
suppliers, you will act as a project engineer and leader in support of new
product design and improvements to existing products. In addition, you will
supervise junior level engineers and technicians.
Requirements: BS or MS in Engineering (mechanical, biomedical or
industrial), 5+ years experience in the medical device industry and 2-5
years experience with designing for manufacturing processes including CNC
swiss manufacturing. This position also requires a thorough understanding of
mechanical design and strength of materials concepts, as well as the ability
to plan and execute new product development/improvement projects.
