POSITION AVAILABLE ORTHOPAEDIC BIOMECHANICS RESEARCH ENGINEER
The Orthopaedic Bioengineering Laboratory of the Department of
Orthopaedics, Brown University and Rhode Island Hospital in beautiful
Providence, Rhode Island has an immediate opening for a research
engineer at the bachelor or master's level. The potential also
exists for continued graduate studies.
The position entails working with the lab's diverse group of
individuals including research faculty, surgeons, undergraduate and
graduate bioengineering students, medical students and orthopaedic
residents. The Bioengineering Lab is focused on normal and
pathological joint mechanics and is a component of the orthopedics
research suite that also includes molecular and cell biology. The
individual will work on various aspects of orthopaedic research
projects, primarily protocol design, data collection, and data
analysis, and will help manage laboratory materials and resources.
Experience with image processing, computational analysis and data
