Working at Decathlon Creation Research Center (35 persons) in Villeneuve d'Ascq (North of France):
* You ensure scientific and technical watch of your domain
* You organize and manage research programs in collaboration with several research laboratories all over Europe
* You transfer your scientific findings into technical innovative solutions for Decathlon's sports equipments
* You publish your knowledge and findings : inside the group (to salesmen) and outside (scientific publications)
* You ensure the protection of your projects by patents and contracts

APPROPRIATE CANDIDATE
* PhD or equivalent in the field of biomechanics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering.
* Some knowledge in vibration analysis, kinematics & dynamics analysis, human modeling, optimization, footwear
* Experience of applied research in industrial product design is appreciated
* Strong ability for team working, leadership and conviction
* Creative and both curious and rigorous
* Fluent in English or French
* Active sportsman or sportswoman
