Female Researchers in Bioengineering

To all Biomch-L readers:

It has been suggested to me that a good way to compile
a list of prominent women researchers for a seminar series
would be solicit suggestions from readers of this mail
group. I am hoping to organize a seminar series at
Wayne State University in Detroit featuring prominent women
researchers in bioengineering. Any suggestions you may
have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone
who has already given me suggestions.
