Job Title: Research engineer/associate
Description: A position for research engineer/associate is available
immediately in the Laboratory of Biomechanics in Occupational Health,
Orthopaedics, and Sports Medicine (BOSSM) in Rehabilitation Institute of
Chicago. The position is intended to support various research projects
ongoing in BOSSM lab. The responsibilities of this position and
qualifications include the following:
Responsibilities:
Subject recruitment: These subjects will include individuals with
musculoskeletal disorders, or spinal cord injury.
Participate in all aspects of data organization, management, and update
setup and conduct experiments including subject preparation, equipment
setup, and execution of the protocol, maintain appropriate
administrative records and data backup.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in biomedical sciences, clinical
engineering, and related fields experience as a research assistant or
research associate in a rehabilitation research environment.
