Greetings! I would be very grateful if someone could verify or disprove the research experiments done on long bones of mature canine proving that cerclage bands applied on fractured long bones disrupt the blood supply of bone. They said that it was due to the flat and wide cross section. And that cerclage wires of small diameter do not interfere the blood supply of bones.
