Dear Colleagues,
You are kindly invited to take part in the Mini-Symposium "MODELING IN
MECHANOBIOLOGY". This mini-symposium will be organized in the framework
of the ECCM-2006 - III European Conference on Computational Mechanics:
Solids, Structures and Coupled Problems in Engineering, which will be
held at Lisbon, Portugal, on June 5-8, 2006.

=======================
Mechanical forces applied to biological systems may act within tissues
at the cellular level and affect biological processes. This is a subject
of study in the research field termed mechanobiology.
All the multidisciplinary works on modeling of biological systems at the
border of mechanics and other fields as biology, medicine, chemistry
or physics are welcomed, especially those taking into account the
mechanical effects in the phenomena at cellular and tissue level.
Please note the important deadlines:
- November 14, 2005: Abstract Submission;
- January 16, 2006: Notification of Acceptance;
- March 31, 2006:Paper Submission.
Please reply the organizer of this Mini-Symposium <
tlekszyc@ippt.gov.pl >
indicating your interest,
tentative title of the paper and addresses by no later than November 14,
2005.
================================================== ======================

The Abstract submission is carried out on line, indicating the Symposium
Name.
