    at Department of Physical
Therapy, University of Illinois at Chicago. The
    successful candidates will participate
in extramurally funded research that determines
    dynamic stability against slip-related
perturbation during walking and the underlying
    mechanisms for adaptive strategies,
using advanced engineering techniques and computer
    model simulations.

Opportunities exist to interact in collaborative
    research with engineering and
neuroscience faculty who specialize in motor control,
    motor learning, orthopedic
    biomechanics, modeling, and automatic control
    engineering.
