  • Faculty Position in Biomechanics

    The Department of Movement Sciences, in The College of Applied Health
    Sciences, at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking applicants for
    a tenure-track faculty position (open rank) available Fall 2006. We are
    seeking a highly motivated candidate who can develop and sustain an
    independent research program in the area of analytical/computational
    musculoskeletal biomechanics that synergizes with existing strengths in the
    areas of aging and mobility. Candidates will be expected to contribute to
    teaching at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. Candidates should
    have post doctoral experience and a documented record of achievement in
    research. More senior applicants should have a history of academic
    accomplishments and extramural funding.



    The search will remain open until the position is filled. Interested
    applicants should submit a two to three page description of past research
    and future plans, curriculum vitae, and the names of three potential
    references by November 30, 2005, for fullest consideration to:
