Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science

The School of Sport and Exercise Science at Waikato Institute of
Technology seeks a full-time lecturer to teach in the area of
Biomechanics.
The position is suitable for someone who has preferably a PhD, or
alternatively a Masters qualification in Biomechanics. The ability to
undertake and supervise applied research in Biomechanics is essential.
Registration as an accredited Biomechanist with experience in consulting
with high performance athletes is preferred, as is teaching experience
at tertiary level.
Applicants need to be highly motivated, well organised and have a keen
interest in teaching at diploma, degree and post-graduate level. The
successful applicant would be joining an energetic team of staff who
have a commitment to high performance sport, the exercise industry,
recreation management, applied research and sport consultancy.
