    CMAS Annual Meeting an AGM
    23rd and 24th March 2006, Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK

    I am pleased to announce details of the annual CMAS meeting for 2006. This
    will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne on the afternoon of Thursday 23rd and
    all day Friday 24th March.

    Thursday afternoon is set aside for user group meetings - more details will
    be available when companies confirm.

    Thursday evening will be a reception and evening meal at the Centre for
    Life. The reception will include "Gait lab speed dating" where a
    representative from each lab is asked to tell us about the lab - the staff,
    the work and research they do, all in under 3 minutes with no help from
    PowerPoint. This aims to help members get to know each other and to foster
    professional links.

    The main meeting will be Friday at the Freeman Hospital. The provisional

    Call for papers:
    For the first time we have 2 sessions of free papers and invite submissions
    of papers for presentation for sessions on:
    "Gait analysis beyond CP" and "Energy measurement in movement
    analysis - how, why and what"
    Details on submission are at
    Abstracts are to be submitted by 13th January.

    Registration can be combined with membership for 75, or registration alone
    is 60. We also have a limited number of student registrations at 10.

    Author notification: 3rd February
    Registration opens: 16th January (forms will available for download from the
