I was interested in using the spring-mass model to study the interaction of
different (human) running parameters, such as, stride-length, frequency, CM
bounce and speed.
I'm a retired aerospace engineer with a background in physics and
mathematical modeling. I could develop my own implementation, but before I do that,
I'd like to know if there is a shareware or freeware model available. Does
such a model exit?
If not, it looks like a Runge Kutta (RK4) approach with adaptive step sizes
would be the best approach. Yes?
