The Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of South Carolina
seeks to fill a cluster of tenure-track faculty positions in the area of
Biomedical Engineering for a new multidisciplinary research and teaching
initiative. This search is being conducted in collaboration with the
Department of Chemical Engineering and with the School of Medicine at
University of South Carolina. Candidates for this cluster are expected
to be at the forefront of research in Biomedical Engineering and to
support graduate and undergraduate education programs in this field.
Candidates with research interests in the mechanobiology of
cardiovascular development, wound healing, and/or regenerative medicine
are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates are expected to develop a
nationally recognized externally funded research program. For more
