The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is holding a technical
symposium on Head and Neck Injury on December 9th and 10th at the
Denver Marriott City Center in Denver, Colorado. The symposium
will offer a forum to convene medical professionals and automotive
engineers to discuss relevant issues surrounding head and neck
injuries.
DAY ONE topics include:
o Anatomy of the Head and Neck
o Brain Injury
o Central Nervous System Trauma & Its Psychological Effects
o Facial Trauma
o Helmet Protection.
DAY TWO topics include:
o Biomechanics of Neck Injuries
o Anterior and Posterior Neck Injuries
o Prevention
o Economical Consequences.
