· Based in Sydney, Australia
A recently publicly listed global medical device manufacturing company in
Sydney is looking to appoint an R&D Team Leader reporting to the CTO. As the
senior engineer responsibilities include the management of a team of
multi-disciplinary engineers, the management of the R&D and prostheses
testing processes, and the development of new products. Experience in
orthopaedics, a manufacturing environment and working with quality systems
is essential.
Ideally you will have:
· 5-7 years experience in design of joint replacements in a
commercial setting
· Led and managed a design team
· Extensive project management experience
· Displayed commitment and adherence to Quality Management
Systems- ( ISO9001-2000 or ISO13485-2003)
· Fully conversant in CAD and FEA packages used in the 3D design
of orthopaedic implants
· Full understanding of the current issues in joint replacement
· Experience in Regulatory submissions relating to orthopaedic
products
· Managed effective communications with Operations and Sales and
Marketing
· Minimum of a BE and Masters; PhD preferred
Remuneration negotiated to reflect skills base and experience.
