    Please join us at the 1993 NMRC Colloquium. This program will provide
    practical advice and the most current information available on quantitative
    objective measurements for back muscle assessment and management of low back
    pain. A lively exchange of critical issues such as cost containment, health
    care reforms, and low back pain evaluation techniques will occur as audience
    members interact with acknowledged authorities in these fields.

    LEARN THE LATEST INFORMATION ON:
    * Dynamometers * Isomachines *Electromyography
    * Work-Hardening and Pre-Employment Evaluations
    * Impact of Workers Compensation Reform, NIOSH, and ADA

    SOME OF THE KEY ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED:
    * The critical need for better quantitative assessment procedures to identify
    muscle impairment and facilitate rehabilitation.
    * How to evaluate muscle performance and effort using dynamometers and new
    technological advances.
    * How to utilize data from current testing devices to monitor treatment
    progression and diagnose impairment.
    * How specific measures of muscle performance relate to low back pain
    impairment and disability.
    * How Workers Compensation Reform, new NIOSH guidelines, the ADA and other
    health care reforms will effect techniques and future research.
