  • ICE THICKNESS FOR TEST-WALKWAY

    Hello,

we are planning to build a freezable walkway for shoe testing. Our
concern is about the ice breaking when stepping on it. Of course the
base will be as rigid as possible. However, another question arising is
the minimal or ideal thickness of the ice sheet we should target. For
now we are not planning to test shoes with cramps, so this would not be
the problem. For further details, we know we can achieve about -20°C on
    the surface supporting the ice.
    Any advice would be welcome.

    Thank you in advance,

    Gaspar Morey
