  • 3 PhD studentships in UK, Structure and Motion Lab

    Hello,

    We have three PhD positions open for applications now (deadline 8th March)
    in our lab, in the Department of Veterinary Basic Sciences, The Royal
    Veterinary College (part of the University of London, UK).
    Engineering/biomechanics students are particularly encouraged to apply for
    any of these studentships. They will commence in October 2006.

    Titles (and supervisors/co-supervisors):
    1. The mechanics of quadrupedal gait and the role of the back in locomotion
    (Alan Wilson/Jim Usherwood)
    2. Muscle dysfunction with cerebral palsy (James Wakeling)
    3. Biomechanical simulations of the evolution of limb posture in dinosaurs
    (John R Hutchinson/Alan Wilson)
