Hi sir;
I am a PhD student in Bogazici University,Biomedical Enstitute in Turkey and i am stdying on human knee model as the article published in 1998 by Abdel-rahman and Hefzy. I want to compare the contact and ligament force-knee angle results of my tibio-femoral knee model with the related article. I used ADAMS software package to built my model and i can easly manuplate the condition of the model to provide the same condition of the study. Unfortunately i could not understand some points of your artical called "Three-dimensional dynamic behaviour of the human knee joint under impact loading .Medical Engineering & phisics 20 (1998) 276-290. And here are my points;
1- What is the duration of time at 90 degree knee flexion completion in simulation?
If it is 0.1 second, is it logical?
2-What is the direction of gravity in the study. Is it along femur axis(proximal to distal), is it opposite to femur axis (distal to proximal) or is it medio-lateral
if anyone figured out of the points related above, please help me out then i can compare my results asily
thanks
