Hello,
We will be collaborating with some orthopedic MDs this spring/summer on a
project and will be collecting gait profiles on patients both before and
after hip replacement surgery to compare two different methods of hip
replacement. We would also like to try and determine which replacement
method more effectively returns gait to 'normal.' Since it is very likely
that their gait will already be abnormal pre-surgery we are looking for a
normal gait database for subjects ages 60-80 years old to use to make this
determination. Does anyone have this type of data or know if it exists?
Thanks for your help,
Susan
