    Children's Memorial Hospital, the #1 pediatric hospital in Illinois and
    one of the nation's top ten pediatric hospitals has an excellent
    opportunity for a full time Kinesiologist or Biomedical Engineer
    position to join our Motion Analysis Center.

    The Kinesiologist/Biomedical Engineer performs clinical gait analysis
    and sports biomechanics evaluations, including data collection,
    interpretation of patient/athlete data and report generation. In
    addition, you will actively participate in education of peers through
    lectures, in services and tutorials. The Kinesiologist/Biomedical
    Engineer will also be active in our ongoing research activities.

    The ideal candidate possess a Bachelors of Science in kinesiology or
    biomedical engineering with a strong background in biomechanics,
    previous exposure to the techniques involved in kinematic, kinetic and
    electromyographic data collection, the interpretation of pathological
    and normal gait analysis data, baseball pitching kinematics/kinetics,
    previous research experience. Experience in Vicon Workstation and
    Polygon, experience working with children with neuromuscular
    disabilities and/or young athletes is highly desirable.
