Employment Opportunity: Motion Lab and Clinical Research Manager
The Motion Analysis Lab of Shriners Hospitals for Children in Portland,
Oregon is equipped with a Vicon motion system with 8 cameras, 16-channel
EMG capacity, and a Tekscan foot pressure mat system. The Motion Lab has
a busy research and clinical patient volume with strong support of
medical staff. Currently, over 300 full gait analysis studies and 600
patients are tested each year. Research topics include motion related
projects initiated by the motion lab staff and medical staff.
Qualifications: This position requires a minimum of 5 years motion lab
experience, experience in research design and implementation,
statistical methodology, and biomechanical modeling. PhD degree required
(Engineering preferred), with grant writing experience. Candidate must
