2ND NORTHWEST BIOMECHANICS STUDENTS' SYMPOSIUM

The goal of the Northwest Biomechanics Symposium is to bring together
students and faculty who are engaged in biomechanical research in the
Pacific Northwest region of North America. The symposium facilitates
scientific exchange, collaborative discussions and networking for academic
and career advancement. The 2nd Northwest Biomechanics Symposium will be
hosted by the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada on May
12 and 13, 2006. Biomechanics students and recent graduates are invited to
submit abstracts for either podium or poster presentation at the symposium.
The highly successful inaugural symposium was hosted last year at the
University of Washington with over 90 participants from 14 universities and
other research institutions.
