The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of
Vermont is currently seeking candidates for a full-time position as a
research engineer. The candidate should be an engineer capable of
* Designing and carrying out in-vitro and in-vivo experiments
relating to orthopaedic biomechanics
* Participating in all phases of experimental work from the
initial design phase to the presentation and formal publication of the
results
* Designing instrumentation and data acquisition techniques
* Providing supervision and training to junior engineers,
laboratory and research technicians, engineering students, medical
students, and residents who participate in lab research.
