    KESSLER MEDICAL REHABILITATION RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CORPORATION
    (KMRREC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to medical
    rehabilitation research and education, located on the campus of
    the celebrated rehabilitation institute, Kessler Institute for
    Rehabilitation.

    An opportunity for a talented engineer/bioengineer is available in
    KMRREC's Rehabilitation Engineering Analysis Laboratory (REAL). Members

    of REAL conduct research in rehabilitation medicine with a range of
    projects, including studies focused on understanding and treating
    neuromuscular disabilities and frailty.

    Responsibilities for the Bioinstrumentation Engineer include
    participating in data collection and analysis; troubleshooting research

    electronics and biomechanical instrumentation problems; assisting staff

    with data processing software applications; writing computer programs
    in C++ and LabView; assisting with the preparation of grant
    submissions;
    and developing presentations of lab activities for publication and for

    visiting groups.

    Minimum Requirements:
    * Strong engineering background fitting rehabilitation
    engineering research.
    * Degree in biomedical engineering, bioinstrumentation,
    electrical engineering, or a related field
    (BS degree with two years of applied experience or MS preferred).
    * Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    * Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills.
    * Experience with data analysis processing programs, such as MatLab.
    * Experience in programming (e.g., C); familiarity with LabView.

    Experience in electronics, instrumentation, and computer programming in

    support of rehabilitation engineering operations/projects; familiarity

    with LabView; and some experience in control system modeling are
    desirable.
