In partnership with Alamance Regional Medical Center, Elon University
announces a full-time, tenure-track faculty position
available August 2006 to begin teaching in January 2007.
HUMAN ANATOMY
Come to beautiful North Carolina and join our highly qualified, dynamic faculty including 12 full-time and 8 part-time faculty.
Required Qualifications
* Doctoral degree in Anatomy or related science area
* Proven ability to teach Human Gross Anatomy at the graduate level
* Capable of conducting research with a well defined research agenda
* Team player with strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Additional Desired Qualifications
* Eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in North Carolina
The Department of Physical Therapy Education at Elon University maintains its own Human Gross Anatomy Laboratory within the same building where faculty offices and classrooms are located. The individual filling this position will serve as the Director of this Laboratory.
Of special interest, in the Spring of 2006, Elon in partnership with Alamance Regional Medical Center is opening a new Center for Fitness and Human Movement Studies. This Center will enhance the research, teaching, and clinical opportunities presently available.
