I have received the following question from a student and would like to
canvas the list to see their views on the topic.
"Walking, running, x training etc all have sufficient forefoot flex to
enable sagittal plane movement through the
metatarsophalangeal joints but why are most tennis shoes so stiff in the
forefoot?"
My suggestions included the need for lateral stability and to maintain the
integrity of the toe box.any other suggestions?
Thanks
Peter
